Geoff hated tattoos, but his opinion no longer mattered. His friend had offered a great discount and did a tidy job. It was only later that I realised he had marked me for what I was. I determined to prove them wrong.
This is so funny because it actually happens more often that you’d think….Chinese characters tattooed on the body of a fool who doesn’t really know what the characters actually mean!!
Good one! What do the characters mean?
If I have got it right, then it means ‘fool’
Now I need to know what the characters mean!
Intrigued!! What do the characters mean. Great use the prompt to create a teaser gargle!
Fool? Uh oh. Great take on the prompt!
Very thought-provoking. I really like what you did with the prompt. Nice job!
“With friends like that…” right? 😉
But a fantastic take on the prompt and a sign that he will work against his whole life.
Nice!
Oh my….not a great friend to think he was a fool and brand him with it. Tattoos are permanent! Great take on the prompt! ♥
I love the idea of a mistake and a prank becoming the inspiration for better things–nice job.
Oh No! That’s so not to be inked! I’d be disheartened knowing no boundaries :O
Eek! I’ve heard stories about people messing up those characters. I’d like to know what his revenge will be.
Love your creative take on the prompt. We learn so much about this friendship and Geoff in so few words.
Very nice. I like that there is more to the story, behind the words, and I especially like the hidden meaning of the symbols.

I bet it happens so often the tattooists have stopped laughing and just roll their eyes now. Clever twist!
Done it! Terrible matter to deal with but you learn. Especially not to be so hasty. Very well done!
Ugh, and that’s why I’m tattoo-less. Too scared to commit to one for fear of mistakes or changing my mind. Nice answer!
…and that’s why you don’t get tattoos in languages you don’t speak! (protip: if you mess up the Sanskrit for Om you get a REALLY obscene word.)
